Thermal transfer labels. These require a ribbon and will not print on a direct thermal printer, so check which technology your printer uses before ordering.
Thermal transfer print does not fade the way direct thermal does under heat, light or abrasion, which is why it is used where the label has to stay readable for months rather than days.
Three synthetic options are stocked alongside the paper range: polypropylene for damp and chemical exposure, and polyethylene for outdoor and cold conditions. Sold by the carton.
